Frequently Asked Questions
-
Easy peasy! You bring your work to us during the designated call times (the art intake window is listed on the current call for art flyer, on our instagram, and our website). If we have room for it, it fits the theme, can be hung, and is mall appropriate, we will display your work!
-
We have to be respectful of the venue, and aware that this is a family friendly space for all ages and walks of life. We ask that work has no explicit language or imagery that might reasonably cause distress or harm. Hateful imagery will not be accepted.
-
We are near the mall entrance across from LensCrafters, between Claire’s and the Food Court.
-
Show up with your work during the designated time and you’ll sign a digital waiver form. This will get emailed to you as well. Once you sign the form and give us your work, we’ll take it from there! Receptions are usually the same day as intake, so we encourage you to come and see the beautiful exhibition when it’s all installed!
-
ZERO! Our exhibitions are always free to participate.
-
We reserve the right to not accept work that we deem unsuitable for the show or mall audience. Note that the space is unmonitored, and we are not responsible for the safety of the work shown.
We ask that you do not leave us with any packaging materials during intake, we have no capacity for storage, especially storing your art post-show, so please pick up your work!
If your piece has very precarious hardware attached, we might have to adjust it or add more appropriate hanging hardware. If you have any concerns, please let us know at intake. Providing the correct, safe hanging hardware upon dropoff is best! We cannot hang anything from the ceiling. 3D work that hangs on a wall is welcome, but if it is too heavy, we might not be able to hang it safely.
-
At the end of the exhibition, we have pickup windows which we will post about and remind you via email. Please come get your work during those times. If you or someone you know are unable to pick up your work during the designated times, please reach out to us in advance.
-
On each label, we can indicate whether your work is for sale or not, however we do not facilitate the sale of works. Rather, we encourage people to reach out to you directly. There is no pressure to mark your work for sale, only if you want to!
-
That’s okay! We will put whatever information you feel comfortable with. Just let us know at intake. If you have a name you would rather go by on the label, let us know that too.
-
For each exhibition, we have Cheese and Chats! This is where we invite anyone who would like to talk about their pieces to the platform. We bring the cheese (and crackers), you bring the chat. Look out for our emails for the signup link.
